Following the recent cold snap and snow, all oil suppliers across the UK have been inundated with orders and are completely booked through the coming Christmas period. Most are now quoting delivery dates no earlier than the first week in January.

However, it's still worth placing an order if you are looking to fill or top up your tank during January as the long term weather forecast if for generally colder weather as we head into 2017.

The Heating Oil Club always recommends ordering outside of peak times and Christmas is THE peak of the year.

So, get ahead of the curve and secure an order slot for early in the New Year.
